Who can do this

Owners, admins and managers record training; managers for their own department. Only owners and admins change the training types.

  1. Step 1: Check your training types

Go to Training, then Training types. Your account starts with a set of common ones, like inductions and toolbox talks. Edit them, or add your own with a Name, Category and Refresh every (months).

Tick Site-gating for training that must be in date before anyone goes to site, like a site induction. It then counts like a required ticket.

None of the starter training is site-gating. Tick it and anyone without that training in date goes red straight away. The form tells you how many before you save.

  2. Step 2: Record a session

Choose Record training. Pick the Training and the Date of training. The expiry is worked out from the refresh period, or choose A different date or Doesn't expire.

  3. Step 3: Choose who attended

Under Who attended, tick one operative or everyone at the talk. Search by name or narrow it to a department. Add Delivered by and, if you have one, a signed attendance sheet as Evidence: one file covers everyone.

The button says what it will do, like Record training for 6 operatives.

After you save, the training and date stay filled in for the next gang.

  4. Step 4: See everyone at a glance

Matrix shows every operative against every training type: a tick for in date, ! for expiring within 30 days, a cross for expired and ? for missing site-gating training. Download it as a CSV or PDF.
